A teenage girl who died in a blaze at a physical therapy school in Riverview, Utah on Saturday died from injuries suffered in the blaze, the coroner’s office said.
The teen, identified by authorities as Jena M. Fagan, 19, was found in a bedroom with severe burns to her face and arms and died Saturday morning at a local hospital, according to a statement released by the Riverdale Fire Department.
The cause of the fire, which took place about 10:30 a.m.
Saturday, is under investigation.
Authorities did not immediately release details about the nature of the injuries.
The fire burned about four acres and damaged or destroyed at least one building, according the statement.
No one else was injured.
