There are countless stories from the past and the present of men and women who’ve made the journey from the far-flung corners of the planet to join a community, who’ve had their lives changed forever.
The Lad is the world’s oldest and most popular bible and, according to the Lad’s website, has “more than 2 million readers” in its hundreds of thousands.
We asked Lad founder David Lister how the Lad could continue to be so popular with so many readers while also helping people find meaning in their lives.
Lister’s answer was surprisingly simple: it’s all about “the people” and, of course, the Lad is about the “people who have come before us.”
Lister is not an entrepreneur or a corporate executive.
He’s not even a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He started Lad in 1985 after his wife was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer.
Listers mother died when he was 10 years old.
His father had been diagnosed with cancer, and his brother and sister were diagnosed with early-stage colon cancer.
So when his mother passed away, the family had to find a new way to support their mother, who died of breast cancer at 27.
David and his wife wanted to provide a means to help others.
In 1991, Lad was born, and the idea for Lad was hatched.
David, now 47, has been the sole creator of the Lad since 1998.
His wife, Ann, is also the founder and sole proprietor of Lad.
In recent years, the company has expanded its reach.
Now it has more than 700 websites, hundreds of social media accounts and more than 200,000 followers on Facebook.
David believes that, as the internet continues to grow and become a platform for communication, Lad will continue to thrive.
“It’s hard to explain how important it is for people to get connected,” David Listers daughter, Stephanie, said in a phone interview.
“It’s really easy for a company to say, ‘Hey, we want to make the internet accessible to all.’
We think Lad is a great example of how we’ve been able to do that.
Lad is all about sharing.
Lad’s a great way to connect with other people.”
While the Lad was initially created as a way for people in the developing world to find meaning, David Liers mission is more universal.
David Ls vision is to “change the way people think and how they experience the world.”
He believes that Lad is one of the first “social media apps” that was created specifically for people who are struggling to understand how their lives are going and how their world is changing.
“Lad is one example of social networking that helps people connect and understand the world,” he said.
“Lad helps people become better people.
People have the ability to see the world in a different way.
They have the capability to be better.”
The Lad is designed to connect people from all walks of life and to be a tool for learning.
As Lister puts it, Lad’s mission is to help people to “find their purpose in life.”
“Lads purpose is to show people that life is not about how much you earn or how much money you make, but how much we care about each other and how we can work together to do good things for the world and for each other,” Lister said.
The Lad’s social media reach has increased by more than 1,000 percent since the company’s launch.
In addition to reaching millions of readers, Lad has also been used in more than 70 countries around the world.
David believes Lad will remain relevant for many years to come.
Lister believes Lad’s popularity is a result of its simple yet powerful message: that “life is about relationships, family, community, and hope.”
Listers mission has become something of a “community mission,” with Lad members all around the globe serving in roles as ambassadors and spokespersons for Lad and the Lad community.
“The community is the engine of Lad,” Listers son, Ben, said.
Lander is an online community for Lad users, whose community-created content is shared with thousands of others around the country.
It has become one of Lad’s most popular products, with more than 7 million followers and more sites than 1 million active users.
“We want to build the Lad culture that allows people to connect, have their voices heard, and share their stories,” David said.
“Our goal is to have people who know the Lad to share their experiences and their thoughts and to help educate others.”
Lander has also expanded beyond Lad, having a dedicated community for people living in China and the Philippines.
The company’s mission has also taken a more personal turn, with Lad founders and community members sharing
